Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy is issued by OSIMT Ltd., a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company No. 78378083), with its registered office at Room A17, 29th Floor, Ning Jin Centre, 7 Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (“OSIMT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy applies to all purchases made through our website and Services.

01 — Brand Philosophy

At OSIMT, every product is crafted as both a precision tool and a cultural object. We respect customer rights while maintaining strict standards to protect product integrity, hygiene, safety, and brand value.

02 — Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

• Unused, untested, unsharpened, and uncut
• In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and inserts
• Free from scratches, stains, odors, fingerprints, or any signs of handling
• Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Any sign of use will void return eligibility. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.

03 — Knives & Cutting Tools Policy

Due to hygiene, safety, and product integrity concerns, knives and cutting tools are subject to strict inspection standards.

The following will be considered used and therefore non-returnable:

• Cutting any material (food, paper, cardboard, etc.)
• Test cutting or trial use
• Sharpening, stropping, polishing, or modification
• Blade patina, micro-scratches, edge wear, or any alteration

For safety and liability reasons, used cutting tools cannot be resold and are not eligible for return.

04 — Food Products & Consumables

Food products (including sauces, chili sauces, spices, condiments, and other consumables) are subject to strict non-return rules.

Food products are non-returnable and non-refundable if:

• The seal is broken or the product is opened
• The product has been tasted, used, or partially consumed
• Packaging is damaged in a way that may affect food safety
• Improper storage by the customer (heat exposure, freezing, contamination)

If your food product arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number.

Refunds or replacements for food products are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may require photographic evidence or proof of destruction instead of return shipping.

05 — Non-Returnable Items

• Opened or used food products
• Custom or personalized products
• Limited edition or engraved items
• Clearance or sale items
• Gift cards
• Perishable goods or consumables

06 — Return Authorization

All returns must be pre-approved by OSIMT.

To request a return, please email support@osimt.com with your order number and reason for return.

Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

07 — Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

• The item is defective upon arrival
• The wrong item was sent by OSIMT

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. OSIMT is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments.

08 — Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

Contact us within 7 days if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, accidental impact, modification, or normal wear and tear is not considered a defect.

09 — Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please return the original product (subject to approval) and place a new order once the return is accepted.

10 — EU Cooling-Off Period

If you are located in the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, provided the item remains unused and in original condition.

Certain exemptions apply to sealed goods not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

11 — Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10–15 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

12 — Anti-Abuse Policy

• Excessive or suspicious return patterns
• Evidence of use, testing, tampering, or policy abuse
• Fraudulent claims or chargeback abuse

OSIMT reserves the right to refuse returns, restrict accounts, or decline future transactions where abuse is identified.

13 — Artisanal Variation Disclaimer

OSIMT products are crafted in limited batches. Material texture, color tone, grain pattern, and (for food products) flavor intensity may naturally vary.

Such variations are inherent to artisanal production and do not constitute defects or grounds for return or refund.

By purchasing from OSIMT, you acknowledge that aesthetic and sensory variations are part of the product’s character.

14 — Governing Law

This Return & Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.

Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
